Walk around the Lower East Side as we learn about this fascinating area
that was once rural and bucolic. We'll talk about the massive changes as
millions of immigrants came searching for freedom and wealth in the 19th
Century. View the current changes and witness the gentrification of the
neighborhood as a new generation of people arrive. We will also visit
some of the historical sights and food shops that make the Lower East
Side a conglomeration of both the old and new. End with a food tasting.
